Junk Food Clothing

We teamed up with Junk Food Clothing to debut a solar-powered collection of t-shirts printed with Inkodye. Premiered at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012 in New York City.

Printing with light is hitting big fashion! The runway show "Money Can't Buy Happiness," inspired by Hasbro's MONOPOLY features apparel printed entirely with sunlight using Inkodye.

Lumi's printing technology brought out the child in everyone at Junk Food clothing. Creative director Mike Palermo, artist Aaron Rose and their team all came out to play in the sun! Our solar-powered Inkodyes require no electricity or special machinery to develop their color. And because they adhere to the garment's fibers instead of laying on top, there is no residue or texture left behind and the fabric feels as comfy and natural as a fresh cotton tee.
